You were a big boy when you were born. You loved everybody and everybody loved you in return. Children pulled your ears and tail and climbed all over you and you never showed an angry side to anyone. You would just get up and walk away when enough was enough. You loved the snow from one inch to two feet you had to roll in it and take your baths. You loved your ice cream and I can remember the day you had your picture taken with the ice cream cup stuck on your nose and wouldn’t let anyone take it off until you had licked it clean. As big as you were you were a lap dog, kisses for everyone from babies to elders even the vet.
You always had to have a stone in your mouth. They were all over the house but they were yours. And oh how you loved to swim from a puddle to the ocean you had to be in it.
Then came the day you developed a large lump on your chest the vet removed but it came back. Then came the oh so long surgery to remove it again. They told me i would have you for about three months but five years later you came to my bed side to tell me it was time.
You were being called to the bridge oh how I hated to let you go but it was best you had given your all to all here on earth. Now it was time for you to be free of all your pain. Fondly Known To All As Uncle Moose
