Teddy by Leslie / Your sister, Leslie

Hi,

I lost my kitten a couple years back. My dad found her at his job. She was the most beautiful kitten in the world. My dad took her because the mother had been killed. We thought Teddy was about 2 months old, but we were wrong. Teddy was only 3weeks old. We named her(Teddy)because she was so soft. We had to bottle feed her.

It was so cute how the milk use to drip down her face. She also had a brother we never named him. He went to a very good home. He survived. He is now a healthy cat,
but Teddy was unfortunate.

We gave her a bath one day. The next day she seemed fine but the day after that just wasn’t. She was sneezing and breathing funny. We made her an appointment for the vets the next day. We went the vet said she was fine. We took her home and gave Teddy her medicine.

It seemed like she got better but things just started to go down hill. She felt fine for a couple days. She was not in any pain at all for a couple days. She slept in our bed. Then one morning I woke up and she was very sick. She was barely breathing. My mom held her in a towel for hours and hours.

Finally she passed away. I remember I cried for hours so did my mom. I held her and kissed her one more time knowing she would not react. My mom kissed her, too. Me and my dad went to our old house across the street from Pathmark by the rail road tracks and buried her. We found a rock and wrote here lies Teddy our love and our sunshine. We went home and told my mom and we cried.

To this day I still remember you and you can never can be replaced Teddy. I will see you some day at the golden gate soon. I will see you again. Go find Mittzie and Pillis. They will protect you from any harm. I love you and I always will.

Love

Your sister, Leslie
