Ongie by Carmela Egitto / Momma

My dearest Ongie,

I still can’t believe you are no longer here on this earth to make my each and every day better and brighter. We were inseparable for 15 years since I found you under the backyard tree and even though our lives had good and bad we were always there for each other and you were always there for me. You were so sensitive to my feelings and how you would always crawl on my lap and try to lick dry my face if I was crying and how you sang along with me when I sang.

You were my best boy and always greeted me at the door when I came home at the end of the day. I have so many memories of you and I will cherish them for as long as I live now that Chronic Renal Failure took you away from me. I miss you like crazy but you will always live in my mind, my heart and my soul for as long as I live and then we will be reunited at Rainbow Bridge once and for all.
