It’s only been hours and I already miss you terribly. You were such an independent, yet loving soul. Your presence in my life was an inspiration–you overcame such hard times and learned to trust and love again. Whenever I think of you, I will imagine you laying on my stomach, purring and looking so peaceful. Or sitting in your bed on the dryer, looking warm and contented. I am so happy that peace and happiness has been restored to you now.
All the pain and suffering has ended, and you are in a place where you can sit on all the warm towels you want, drink from the sink faucet, be caressed and loved all the time. We miss you here, and will always keep you close in our hearts. Thank you for everything you have given to us in your short life. I can’t say goodbye to you, because I will carry your spirit with me.
