Max you were our faithful boy for almost 16 yrs. You always came running when we came home, you gave us all of your love. We will miss every snort & grunt, your way of saying “I love you guys”. We will miss hearing you running down the hall & we’ll miss seeing you curled up in a ball on our bed sleeping the afternoon away.
Your brothers will miss you as well, even the new little one who didn’t get to know you & all of your wonderful ways. The house seems quieter without you. You were taken so suddenly, it still feels as though we are dreaming. We know you were on borrowed time.
God wanted you sooner but you wouldn’t go. You had to make sure we were alright, you were so unselfish. Even at the vet when she tried to put you to sleep you flinched your arm, one last attempt to stay strong for us. But you took your shot and grunted one last time and then you sprouted your beautiful wings and flew to your Maker. You will be forever missed & loved.
We can’t wait to see you again in Heaven. Wait for us with a wag & a lick, we’ll be there soon with a treat & a hug. God Bless you Max, thanks for always being there and for always taking care of us. We all love & miss you so very much!
