Josh by The Muellers / Amy, Mom, Dad, Brian and the kids

Sweet, gentle Josh,

I hope you know how very, very much you are missed. We try not to cry, but no one can help it – we want you here with us. We know you were so very sick, though. We didn’t want you to suffer anymore.

Josh was a very beautiful, all black cat with green eyes. He was very graceful, loving, gentle, and funny. My mom called him “Pumpkin.” He liked to take her chair (and not give it back!). He loved to sit on the kitchen table at dinner with the family. He had his own cup to drink his water from. Every morning he had to have one sugar cookie. He loved Swiss Miss vanilla pudding (had to be just Swiss Miss, nothing else!). He spent most of his time lying on the foot of my parent’s bed on his special afghan. My mom can’t look at it anymore. His hair is still on the bed. His pawprints are still on the furniture. His presence is so strong. He had a favorite stuffed toy pumpkin – he would beat it with his back feet and drag it all around the house!

He has a brother, Tar. Tar misses him. He keeps looking for Josh. He doesn’t understand where his buddy went.

Josh gave us nothing but love and joy. He literally changed my mom and dad’s life! He was nothing but a pure blessing, a gift from God. We thank you, Lord. We thank you, Josh.

Forever ours,
Josh
