I will never forget the day we met. You ran into our lives with such enthusiasm that how could we not take you home. You saw the birth of our child, who became your most loyal friend. You comforted us when we were down and never left our sides no matter what. I know it will get easier but my heart is breaking. We are all inconsolable. We knew the end was near but after 16 years, half our lives, we couldn’t bear to think of life without you. Sleep well my darling.
