To dearest Jack, you were only a part of my live for 13 short months but in that time I loved you dearly. I don’t know why you became ill so suddenly and I’m so sorry that I couldn’t make you well, even though I tried my best. I know your last few weeks of life were difficult and I’m sorry if I prolonged your agony but I couldn’t bear the thought of having you put to sleep. But on your final day I knew that was the kindest thing I could do for you. My heart is breaking but I know that you’re finally at rest now. I am still so sad over losing you but in time I hope to remember you and smile. Thank you for all the times we shared, I will never forget you.
