NILLA by Mason / MiMi and Mason

Sweet Little Nillikins,
It was just recently that I found out you had died in May at the hands of a very mean person. You were my grandson’s pet and he was afraid to tell me. He didn’t want to make me cry. Poor little Mason, no telling what he has suffered because of this tragic circumstance. Both of you
were too young to have to go through something like this.
I will never forget the 3 years you lived here
with us on Roadrunner Drive. You came here to live at the same time I got Candy Lou. You two were inseparable growing up. You little girls played together, slept together, and I can’t remember a time you didn’t get along with each other. I thought about you every day after you moved away with Mason and his Mom. I worried about you too knowing how fearful you were of strangers. Candy was sad for a long time too. We missed you so much.
The story of you is much more than this, but I wanted you to be honored and memorialized because you were like my own. I will never forget you my little Nillikins, and I am so sorry you died much too soon and so tragically. My only peace comes in knowing you are happy and safe
with J.J. and Meggy at Rainbow Bridge. I’ll see you again my sweet little girl on God’s appointed day.
