Buttons had breast cancer. She was named after her pink nose in as cute as a button. She enjoyed 8 good mos between surgeries. Even after this surgery she became her kittenish self.And had a couple of good months again. She never knew she was sick. Her breathing was funny and we found out the cancer spread to the lungs. We did the right thing by her. She was such a good cat. Perching on shoulder. The wiggle butt dance she did. Wanting her whip cream treat in her dish in the room set aside for recovery.
Sitting on the computer just to be with you. An excellent alarm clock. She was a good moma to Butterball and even a grandma! Somehow her kitty family knew something was wrong in the last few days. Giving her kisses. I feel bad we told her she was going to doctor and then come back home. We didn’t expect her not too.
We are so sorry Buttons, but you were struggling so. Lucy and Wishbone and Sparkles and the rest of our furry babies will be there to look out for you.
