To my sweet Shiloh,
Shiloh was the most loving, caring, protective dog that ever touched my life. Even at the end, he wagged his tail and lifted his heavy head, just to please us, even though he was fading away. When I was sick, he never left my side. When I was scared, he protected me. When I was sad, he comforted me. When I was lonely, he was my truest companion.
I’ve become a better person because of my sweet boy. His loss will be felt profoundly. His memory will never be forgotten. I know that I will see him again sometime, and he will be without sickness and sadness. He’ll be waiting for me with a giant bone and a leash. His arthritis will be gone. He’ll give me sweet kisses, cock his ears and playfully bark. Until then, I will remain with the memory of the most loyal, loving and trusting dog that I will ever meet.
