Ridge by Al and Lnda Denis / Your Foster Mom and Dad

Ridge,

You and your brother and sister came to us when you were about 3 weeks old. You were all so tiny and helpless. You all loved to play and you loved to cuddle in my lap. Your sister and brother were soon adopted. You stayed with us a while, you loved playing with Socks our other foster dog and our dogs Elsa and Belle.

You got adopted to what we though was a nice family, but it turns out that they didn’t want you and we got you back three weeks later. You really were not the same dog you had been. You had become shy and withdrawn not the happy outgoing pup you were when you left us.

We worked with you and when we thought it was time to adopt you out, your foster mom thought that you weren’t ready and I did. You got a wonderful home with two wonderful kids and we thought all was well,

Well a few days ago we got a call, you had backed out of your leash and backed into the street and got hit by a car, you died soon after.

Your foster mom was right, and I am so sorry. We miss you terribly Ridge, there is not a minute that you aren’t in our thoughts.
