Tommy, we miss you terribly. I still remember the day you came into our lives. Mom and I just stopped by the West L.A. Animal Shelter because we had nothing to do and wanted to visit some of the animals. When mom saw you, huge and white and scared…she knew she had to get you. You reminded her of a cat she had as a kid named Tommy…and next thing I knew you were riding home with us on my lap.
You were a strange one, but everyone loved you for it. I’ve never heard a meow so loud. It became infamous with my friends. I would be talking on the phone and your powerful meows would cause laughter from everyone. We had a joke you were from another planet and got stuck here on Earth somehow; there was no way you could be a normal cat.
Your passing was too soon. We don’t know what went wrong, but I am sorry you had to suffer so much in your last few days. You are missed terribly by me, mom and all my friends who knew you. You will always remain alive, though, in our mind and hearts…and through the never-ending meows that now come out of my friends mouths due to you.
Thank you for your love and
endless amusement, my dearest Tom Cat.
Always,
| Tommy |
