Kona was a very special hamster. I loved him very deeply. He was rescued from a pet store where the other hamsters were picking on him. He returned all the love he was given. He used to escape from his cage at night and curl up in bed with me on my shoulder. I’ve never loved a hamster so much before or since. Kona was my world. A large part of my heart went with him when he passed.
