Casey was a special dog. He was given to us by a co worker of my husbands 5 years ago. We feel in love with him instantly. Never thought it was possible to love a dog as much as we loved him. He was a part of our family, he wasn’t just a pet. He slept with a pillow and blanket,he got christmas gifts. We would even dress him up for halloween and take him trick or treating with the kids. His life was ended sudden and tragic and our hearts are aching.
His best friend (our other dog) has not been the same. Many people over the last few days have told us just to get another dog…..you can not replace a member of your family that easy. Some people I guess they just don’t understand.
Casey……you will forever be in our hearts and memories. We have placed flowers and a cross and of course a “soft” ball on your grave. Your love for us will never be forgotten and we will love you forever.
