Jackie Bird came into our lives on an October day in 1987. He quickly picked up many words and phrases. Jackie loved to talk hanging from lamp chains in our home. He had his own playground and the freedom of the house. It was such a great joy to have him fly over and perch on our shoulders and talk to us. Then to return to his toys and happily toss them on the floor. Jackie Bird was a wonderful blue bundle of energy with a happy spirit, who not only entertained friends and family with his antics, but loved
to snuggle with his “flock.”
