sweet and loyal companion for 9 years.
We walked together, swam, traveled and
chased squirrels.
You retrieved a million tennis balls
just because you loved it.
I will always miss your face and
the way you tapped me on
the arm for a bite of whatever I was eating.

to welcome me home each time I
