Bonnie by Amanda Bennett / Mommy and John

Bonnie,

I had you more than half my life. I don’t know what I will do without you. You comforted me when I was sad and made me happy again with a wag of your tail. I will miss your long, satisfied sighs and your snuggling on cold nights. You were only in John’s life a few years but he loved you as much as I did. I’m sorry for all the walks I never took you on and all the treats I didn’t have a chance to give you. I know however much we loved you, you loved us a million times more. It broke our hearts to see you go, but you were very sick and I feel comforted that your suffering is over and you are in a better place. I’m sorry
we couldn’t make you better, baby.

I love you so much,
Bonnie
