Chopper was my daughter, Brandy’s Amazon parrot. Brandy had a special bond with Chopper. She hand fed and raised him along with his 2 other siblings after her husband found them abandoned on the job site he was working on. It was amazing to see these babies grow from skinless tiny creatures to beautiful full grown parrots. Brandy was a wonderful mother to them and she loved Chopper so much, but Chopper got sick and there was nothing the vets could do for him. I know his passing has broken her heart and mine too to see her in pain. The only comfort now is knowing Chopper in not in pain any more and he has a good home in heaven with God and has the wind beneath his wings.
