Case, we took away your pain today and now we are the ones left behind to grieve. You have brought so much happiness and laughter to our lives and now we will live through your memories. You were far to young to go and your last week was rough, but you never made a sound.
You suffered in silence and stayed for us because we weren’t ready to let you go. Words of wisdom from your four and half year old sister “don’t be sad, mommy, don’t miss Caissie, he’s in your heart, and he is comfy and cozy on that big bumpy cloud up there” She’s right, your pain is gone and that brings me comfort, I just wish you were still on my pillow. I will miss your footsteps in the kitchen, your bites on the head, your pointy little feet with all your weight on my chest, watching you bath with the kids and swim in your water dish. We love you Case and know that you are comfortable now.
