Sweetest Tara,
You were with me for such a short time (2 years), but you jumped right inside my heart and cracked it wide open. Such a gift you were to me – the very first little cat being who came to live with me. You were 5 1/2 years old, and it took us a couple months to get used to each other, but then our hearts connected for good! Thank you so much, my beautiful little teacher, for the love and joy you brought into my life.
I’m sorry for your illness, which I didn’t even realize until your last few days with me. You continued to greet me at the door each night with such love and enthusiasm that I was unaware of how sick you were.
I am so grateful that our last hours together were spent in the hands of a compassionate vet. I miss you so much, my little sweetie, and you are welcome to visit me in spirit anytime. I did feel your presence a few days ago. I know you came into my life to open my heart to the wonder of sharing my home, my life and my heart with a little being like yourself; and I have no doubt that when the time is right, you will help connect me with another cat to share my life with.
