B O S T O N by Mike Gerrick / Mike Gerrick

BOSTON,

While your passing makes us sad, We can only hope you’re in a better place. I hope you enjoyed your life, I know it was hard, loosing your sight at a young age. You were truly the best friend I ever had. The white 2 week old puppy, you licked on the head before your died, I named him “Boston” after you. Not to take your place, but to honor you. Out of the 9 litters Blizzard has had, the new Boston was the ONLY white puppy she ever had. I believe God stepped in on that one. Brinkley, you’re life long buddy (also a min-Poodle) has gone down hill fast since you died. He walks in circles, is depressed and just doesn’t understand where you went.

You were the best, you were always by my side, never barked and had a hard life being blind, but I gave you the best love I could, the best foods and I took you EVERYWHERE I ever went. You were the reason I bought a big motorhome, so you could travel with me everywhere. I deeply miss you and I admit, I just can’t understand the death process. I never thought of you as a dog, you were always my best friend. Brinkley is now over 15 years and probably will be joining you soon. He will join you in the special urn I got so his remains can again be with you so your both can be together in death as you were in life. Wherever I move, the urn will be with me.

I believe God has and will care special for you. For over 13 years you were a VERY important part of my life. I have tried so hard to cry but I cannot. I know your life was the best possible and you’ve gone to a better place. People don’t realize, all creatures are children of God and while I miss you, I know I’ll be with you someday. You are with me in memory everyday till then. “Chunk-Chunk” you were the very best.

All my love,

Mike, Brinkley, Buster, Boston II, Blizzard, Blaze and Bexar (The newest puppy)

With ALL MY LOVE,
