Tippy by Cheryl E. Spellman / Mommy and Gypsy

A Tribute to Tippy

My little girl
Always came running to me,
A round, fat, butter ball,
Just as fast as she could be.
Straight between my legs,
Zooming to the other side,
Making a sharp turn,
And returning with a slide.

When 6:00 P.M. rolled around,
She never missed a day,
She knew it was snackie time,
She wanted her treats,
Her treats without delay.

When bedtime approached,
And time to go to bed,
I’d call, “Time to go night-night,”
The she’d come
And rest her head.

There’s so many things,
I miss about her,
There will never be another one,
To take the place of Tippy.
I’ll always remember her love,
And those endless days of fun.

With Love Forever,
Tippy
