When I brought you and Lukie home on my lap you were so tiny and cute. You ran with me in the park and you never got tired, and scared away every squirrel in town. I remember our days up at the farm and those christmas walks when I dressed you up in your plaid jacket and santa hat and everyone in their cars beeped at you becasue you were so cute. You loved Timbits and sneaking treats, mabye thats why you got so huge. Everyone loved you, and I loved you most of all.
Even though you were nippy with strangers at the house, I know it wasn’t your fault. It was just something in your head and I could tell when you’d roll over on your belly and let me tickle you that you really were a sweetiepie. I’ll never forget our trips to Pets Unlimited to pick out your chewy sticks, or to snuff at the kittens. Or when you and Lukie won “Best Twins” at the big Dog Walk! You were so gorgeous and shiny and strong, and I will never forget you ever.
Even though it was only this morning that you drifted away with your head in my lap, it feels like forver and I miss you so bad. I miss hearing your bark and I keep crying and you’re not here to lick them off. Lukie is walking around the house looking for you and I know he misses you too! You guys look so much alike; he will always remind me of you. You were my great big baby and I miss you and that one floppy ear!! You were the one who always loved me, even when I went away for school and I will love you no matter what forever and ever, and I’m going to get a little tattoo of a bow on my toe just to remind me of you.
