Miss Kitty by Brenda Lyons / Brenda and Tim

Mama Kitty came into our lives in July 2003 when we rescued her and her 7 kittens. She was a special kitty who happened to be feline leukemia positive. We raised her kittens and loved them until they began to pass away from leukemia-related problems at ages 8, 9, 10 and 14 months.

Miss Kitty was a fat, happy little girl. She would romp in the yard playing with abandon. We always enjoyed our talks with her. She always had alot to say.

A couple of months ago, she started having some kidney issues that the vet said were related to the leukemia. She was responding to the medication and was eating, but wasn’t quite her usual out going self.

We came home from work on a Friday about 3 weeks ago and when we called for her in our garage, she didn’t answer. We found that she had passed to Rainbow Bridge
sometime during the day.

Now she and her babies are together again. They were dealt an unfair hand in life. We’re just glad that we were able to give them a few years of happiness on this earth. They were all truly special cats with awesome “purrsonalities”!!

Sleep softly, Miss Kitty.
We miss your sweet face and demanding meow.

Love,
Miss Kitty
