Today our family lost a little treasure her name is Freckles. Freckles came to Jim and Toni as a puppy and through her whole life she had the spirit of a puppy. She was a special dog who appreciated any attention you gave her. Sunday she must have had a slight stroke and slept through the day but Monday she had a much better day. This morning it was apparent that She was wanted on another level. I know how hard it was for Jim and Toni to let her go. Freckles is at peace now no more pain but she is not alone. Waiting for her at the Rainbow Bridge this morning were her sister Ginger and cousin Sparky. These three gentle dogs are together again and probably Ginger is showing Freckles the way. I’m Toni’s brother and it was my good fortune to have known Freckles. Freckles we will never forget you and look forward to seeing you, Ginger and Sparky again.
