I recently lost my cat, Chucky, of eighteen years, to kidney disease. I battled the medications, overnight stay at vet’s office, the emotional roller coaster, and feeling guilty. I do know that we tried everything for her to feel comfortable on a day to day basis. I do believe that the owner of a pet does know when to make the best decision(even if it is impossible to imagine). Chucky did have a wonderful life !!! She was diagnosed with many illnesses and would not let go. This illness was extremely difficult to fight but she did challenge it for a couple of months. I know in my heart she is at peace. I love you Chucky and miss you more and more each day!
