Squeak- The guinea pig
Passed away Wednesday 6th September 2006, age 4 years
Squeak…my wonderful guinea pig. After battling through three upper respiratory infections this past year you’re finally in peace. You passed away in the night. I’d known you were sick, but I’d thought there would be another miracle like the last two times. You passed away in your igloo that you and Curly used to share. I know her spirit slept with you every night while you, my Squeak, were still alive.
How I’ll miss your tiny tongue licking my hand in pure love, your silver agouti fur, your little whiskers tickling my nose. I chose you and Curly, both crossbreds, against those two purebred Peruvians. I knew you were the ones. Now I know my gut feeling was right. Both you and Curly showed more personality than I ever thought guinea pigs could have. I don’t know how I’ll be able to survive the rest
of my life without you.
You’re with Curly now, my girl. I know she met you at the Bridge. After two years
of separation you’re finally together again.
I love you, Squeak.
Forever. Always.
Love,
