I will miss you most in the mornings,
when you would wake me by scratching your post
or flipping over the garbage…
all so that you can drink some running water from my bathroom.
A few minutes later I’d find you,
all cute and cuddly, sleeping on my pillow.
I am grateful for the 6 precious years we spent together,
and for all the love that you gave me.
You will never be forgotten and will
always be my beloved baby.
