Splash,
What can I say? You were one of a kind from the moment born. And your eyes, well you could read them so well. You always was such a lady. Your white paws were always so clean looking. You got your name because of my giving you a bath. Some water & soap caused you to blow bubbles out of your nose. You were one of the shop cats and it was so funny when all of you came running.
As you grew you became a mom yourself and what a good one you were! Your daughter Splish (what else would do) looks just like you, only she has that spot of orange on her forehead. And smart of course, she is yours! We will miss you so much, but at least you aren’t hurting anymore. And you have family waiting in kitty heaven. Lucy, Felix and the rest will welcome you with open arms. We told you that last visit to doctor you were coming home, and you did. You died on your own terms at home and everyone is still looking for you. Cancer never seemed to stop you from running, or playing and of course being auntie to the newest little ones.
Your taste in food was so funny! I knew when that stopped it was close to your time. I was glad that Dad was home with you to say goodbye & give you kisses. We loved you so much Splash, but the puzzled look you’d get, what is going on with me, is gone and you are at peace. You will always be with us in our hearts, tues your ashes will be home. We love you Splash. And we will miss you so much.
Your pain is over.
How ironic you died on Christmas Day. Say “HI” to the others there when you see them, and that
we love and miss them too!
All our love,
