Max,
You were originally supposed to be a Valentines gift for momma. You were so small, you could fit in a palm. You learned from your big brother “Bear”, how to be big and protect the family. You did not like it when the kids would fight, and knew just how to stop it.
You never did like baths or having your nails clipped. I especially miss the way you would turn your head away when in trouble. You would turn it with your nose in the air, just like “Andre the seal.” I remember coming back from overseas, a year away from you, and wondering if you would remember me. When I picked you up, you cuddled in my arms and whined like nothing else-you were so happy.
I will always remember the fishing trip, where you tried to get the fish each time we would reel in- a new toy! I remember the way you loved to go for rides. You could hear keys jingle anywhere. No matter where the military took us, you were there and made it a home. I remember the kennels in Vegas, where the employees fell in love with you and “Baby.” Then we returned home. I pray I made the right decisions, as you looked as if you were suffering, and sounded he same. This was the hardest decision I have had to make. Now all I want to do is cry, as things are not the same without my little BIG man! I know the blessing God gave me, and will love you always. XOXOXO.
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE,
