Happy Birthday, Sweety! Today my baby celebrated his 12th Birthday in heaven.It’s been almost 6 months since you’ve been gone and the pain is just as bad as the day you left me. You were never regarded as a “dog”. You were my companion, best friend, soulmate, the ruler of my heart, the king of the castle, and the light of my life.
Words cannot explain how much you meant to me, Lamar, and Alvin. It’s feeling only God truly knows and understands.
However, I was blessed and honored to have had you in my life for over 11 years. They were the best 11 1/2 yrs. I could ever ask for! When you came into my life you were only 3 months old and the cutest little fur ball. You pranced when you walked and everybody noticed it. You stole my heart immediately. I fell in love with you, you were so special to all of us and will NEVER EVER be forgotten. You were so high strung that would rather run than walk, jump on everybody you met, and were so full of energy and life.
Through the years, we would go to the park together and you loved being outdoors. You would jump and prance when momma said, you want to go “bye-bye”? I would grab the keys and you knew it was time. If things didn’t go your way, you’d have a fit and give me a big sigh along with a look of being annoyed. Of course, I’d go over to you and give you a big kiss and hug, say I’m sorry, sweety.
You brought so much joy, love, and happiness to our home. You taught me what unconditional love really is. I will always cherish that. When I look around now, the house is so empty, so lonely, so quiet. You were the light of the house.
Your sudden passing broke my heart into a million pieces, but a part of my heart is still with you. God took you quickly because he didn’t want you to suffer, he knows I couldn’t have handled that. They say God chooses the best, well you were the best. I know your in heaven watching over us. I also know your going to show-off on your birthday by prancing and dancing in heaven with your new friends.
Run and play in God’s garden baby and know that one day we’ll be together sweety pie! You will always have a special place in my heart. No other dog will ever replace you, either! Remember how special you were to mamma. I will always love you and miss you terribly.
