My dear, sweet Duke Dawg – you gave me 11 wonderful years. The last few months of your life were so hard on both of us. I prayed that we would find what was wrong with your body, but in the end, I guess it’s meant to remain unknown.
Today it was time to send your spirit to Heaven, and release it from the confines of your ailing body. I know you are finally at peace — your strength has restored and
you are happy again.
Look after our buddies Cadbury and Ares; I look forward to the day I can see your sweet faces again. You were a loyal and good dog to the very end and I will never ever forget you. You will definitely be one of the best dogs I will ever have in my life. I love you and miss you with all my heart.
