Oscar passed suddenly and unexpectedly on 16 April 2007 after a short illness.
He was a beloved pet and friend to Russell and Tony and a companion to Jenny. Russell worshiped him and received the same adulation in return. Russell and Oscar were inseperable and had an extraordinary bond to one another. The decision to lest Oscar sleep was the hardest decision Russell ever had to make but, at the end, Russell was there for Oscar, as always.
Oscar was loving, dependent and funny. He brought so much joy to our lives with his quirky ways and the levels of love he was capable of showing us was overwhelming.
Words can never describe the pain we feel at Oscar`s passing, but we are grateful for every precious moment he shared with us. He may be gone but we will never forget the special times we shared with him.
He has gone to join his friend, Casper, who passed two years ago. Although they never met, we feel comforted at the thought that they are together somewhere and Casper now has someone to watch out for him.
