Little Ann was so young when she was taken from us suddenly. Little Ann got poisoned by the rat poison from the recall. She would get up in the bed right between Anthony and I. She wouldn’t let Anthony cuddle me for nothing. She would lay on her back and sleep not moving until the morning. Little Ann got sick a week prior to dying. We fought hard for her life. Giving her worm treatment. Forcing water down her throat. Finally it seemed like she was better. We let her go outside like we always had.
That night she didn’t come in. We called and called, but she was no where to be found. After a week of searching we were sitting out on the back porch talking. my brother turned around and said I hate to say this, but there is Little Ann. We all turned and saw her lying in the back yard. She had not been there the night before, so we expected her to be alive. We went to get her and she didn’t left her head up. I picked her up and handed her off to Anthony. She was still very warm, but she wasn’t breathing. We layed her to rest right beside her mother and her aunt. We truly miss Little Ann and all the joy that she brought to our life right.
