A dog found on the side of the road, about 6 months old, weighing 15 pounds and suffering from malnutrition became my shadow and my friend. I have never known a gentler, friendlier, smarter dog in my life. The cancer that took his life at least came in the last years of his lifespan. If you are fortunate, once in your life you will find that one dog with whom you have a special bond. Lucky was that dog for me. Even though I grieve, I thank God for bringing him into my life. I love you, Luckydog!!
