Corky Gail Stevens by Donald Stevens / Daddy

Corky,

I hope you know how much you met to us and how hard it was for me to let you go. To watch you wither away was too much to bear. I keep seeing you as you took your last breath, how helpless I felt, and the emptiness that hit me then. I pray that the rainbow bridge is real and that your waiting for me. You said goodbye to mommy even as weak as you were by wagging your tail to let her know it was OK but I feel you couldn’t say goodbye to me. Maybe you were letting me know that you would see me again. I pray so.

I love you and miss you Daddy’s girl.

Love,
Corky Gail Stevens
