Morris by Michelle and Bob / Mommy

You entered our life on December 14, 1995 and left our lives on December 14, 2007. We had you for 12 years exactly. I discovered this fact the week after you left us, Little Buddy.

It was you that found us at the Humane Society. We were “just looking,” not intending to adopt a cat, but you were so adorable following me around, trying to get my attention. You would throw yourself at my feet, looking so cute, wiggling around and showing off your cute fuzzy belly. You won my heart over in that instant. It was meant to be especially finding out that we share birthdays.

You had a special quality about you. You would let us know when you wanted food or attention by letting out a soft spoken or vociferous meow. You would meow at us and lead us to the bed, where we would love on you and give you our undivided attention. You would knead for twenty minutes and softly purr nonstop.

The house is not the same without you. Everywhere I look I see you. I have dreams of you and find myself calling your name, but then I awake and I remember…
happiness turns to tears.

Dad says that you spoiled me rotten and that he feels sorry for the next cat to come into our lives, because they have a tough act to follow.

You were always there to comfort me, to love me, to nap with me. You loved me unconditionally. You were such a special cat! You left paw prints on our hearts! You will always be remembered…
