To our Blitzie… It’s so hard to write something about a pet who meant so much to all of us. We called her many things… Blitzie, Mr Smith, C3PO… but she was our friend, our companion, a member of our family. We’ll miss seeing her on the back porch in good weather, on her bed relaxing, but ready to go out at a moment’s notice, laying on the Christmas tree platform (as a bed), tearing paper to bits to protect herself from nasty thunderstorms, seeing her excitement when she got to play in the snow, discovering a crayfish on her southern adventure. There is a hole in our house, in our family, and in our hearts. We love you Blitz.
