You came into our lives not sure if you could trust us or if I could trust you. You were after all a “Pitbull” and everyone knows pits are mean. But your boy said you were different and not all pitbulls were mean. Yes BabyGirl you definitely were different and a true ambassador for your breed. There wasn’t a mean bone in your body. You would lay with your “little” brother Jack and loved everyone. The only time you ever showed any aggression at all was when you thought one of your family was in trouble. You payed us back ten fold in your love the night you let me know that there was a fire in the house and we got all the rest of the animals and people out of the house. You were always there to greet us with your beautiful doe eyes looking up with love at us.
During tough times I cried many a tear on your belly and you always wagged your tail and gave kisses to us. You helped us get through a tough time when your boy Sean had to be away for a while. You loved your kids and made sure they knew it too. Then the worst possible thing happened on Sunday afternoon you got out of the fenced in yard, guess you wanted to go see the man across the street and say hi to him. I called you and called you but you just looked back at me with those big brown eyes of yours and ran across the road to see the new person to meet. That’s when it happened a truck hit you and in an instant you were taken from us.
You now are truly our little angel watching from above and waiting for the day when we will join you and walk across the rainbow bridge together. Until that time my “little eared” girl run and play free. We love you girl and miss you so much. But someday we will be together again and walk the final part of our journey together.
