For Princess Walnut
Warm light coming from far below, twinkling, sparkling is the candle’s glow. All is well up on the ridge, The place we know as Rainbow Bridge.
Furbabies sleeping in heaven’s light, tended by candles in the night. Peaceful dreams be theirs to keep, As they slumber in this night so deep.
Hearts on earth that miss them so, take comfort in the candle’s glow. Watching for them in skies above, Bound eternally by a cord of love.
To our Princess Walnut,
We miss you! but we know you are in peace now, away from all the sufferings, the pain. You have fought so hard til the very end. You had shown us courage and will to live up to the very last breathe. You have taught us unconditional love, caring and love, you had shown us appreciation in things that we did for you, your lil’ tip toeing around the carpet always made us smile, waking up in the morning rushing to get off the bed to follow us around the house while getting ready for work, and the excitement in your face when we get home, little things that we will always remember about you. We will miss you Princess Walnut, we love you and we know you’re in God’s beautiful Garden now, playing with other dogs and running around, perhaps once in a while you will look down and with your little tiny paws you would point your paws down to earth, and say ” That is where my mommy and my daddy lives, I know they miss me, but I also know they can always look up to the sky, and know that I am finally home with God.”
We love you Princess Walnut and we will always have you in our hearts.
