Honey,
She was our special Yellow Lab that we got at about 8 weeks old. She was a great watchdog too, but just wait till you got into the house, she was your best friend! She loved people. The only person she ever growled at was my sisters ex and now we know why!
We had her for almost 12 wonderful years. She loved to get into the trash which really was pretty much her only bad habit, she loved bananas, apples and strawberries. I’d cut up apples for the rabbit, and she’d come running, and same for bananas, I’d forgotten about that until just now, she was such a funny dog. She loved bringing shoes to you when you walked into the house, and loved carrying the newspaper, guess that’s the retriever part..didn’t like baths too much though..she was great with the kids, they could dress her up, put beads on her and clothes and she loved it. She was so tolerant of them, she was here before they came along but she loved them when they arrived.
She loved the little plastic bones to chew on and loved rides and walks, even though the walks got really hard on her the last few months, so didn’t do that much. She was always just so enthusiastic about life and was just such a happy girl. We miss you Honey, it’s too quiet without you here, but I know you’re up in Heaven with Heidi and Casey and Foxy and now Grandpa too, he really liked you too, thought you were a hoot..We love you Honey baby, but we’ll see you again someday, until then, have fun and eat some bananas!!!
