Captain, you were my beloved friend. We went through so much through the years and you were so brave and such a survivor. I loved the few short months that we had together at our home and I will always be grateful that you had a home and family for a time in your too short life. You became such a sweet and kind hearted boy that everyone loved, especially me. You have no idea how hard it was to let you go and how very much I miss you. What we had was something special and I was blessed to be your “mom”. You were and are an amazing cat and your love for me was deep and faithful as mine was for you. My grief is profound but I know you are in a better place. Thank you for being in my life and being a special friend. No cat could take your place in my heart and I will love you forever.
