My beloved dog Tippy of 16 years passed away on November 20th, 2008 at 11:20pm. She died in my arms as I held her and she looked into my eyes one last time before breathing her final breath.
Tippy was alot of things – smart, energetic, loving and yes even humourous. The thing I will always remember her for though is her gentleness. All she ever wanted was to love and to be loved and I can only hope that wherever she is now, that she feels I showed her as much love as she gave me, which she gave me unconditionally and always.
Tippy, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing I just want you to know you are the best dog I could’ve ever dreamed of having and it was a privlige to know you these past 16 years. I never felt like I was your master, I felt like I was your friend and you were mine. I love you.
