My dearest Lacey,
How I miss you so. Your kisses upon my face and hands, your beautiful brown eyes always searching mine. Your unconditional love, trust, and loyalty I will always remember. How happy you made me my dearest Lacey. You were so brave and you hung on as best you could so that we would all have a chance to say goodbye. It really hurt so much to see you go, but I’m glad I got to hold you and look into your beautiful brown eyes as you took your last breath, my dearest Lacey. You are now at peace and pain free, healthy and happy awaiting me at Rainbow Bridge. I love you.
