Cactus Petal, You came into my life by chance. Someone that I thought needed help and I was the one who could help you. You were so small. I got you Dino and you immediately sunk into my heart. Your silliness, of putting your head under things when you slept, to laying on the top of the couch and standing on the arms of the chair. You could jump so high, I should have named you Roo. You held my heart in a way no other could. I cherished every moment with you even though you seemed to love my mom more. But you had me. For a decade you graced me with your presents and I’m glad I got to spend these last moments with you. I will hold Dino to my heart because you loved that toy so much. I know you are happy now. Until we meet again!
