Our beloved Robbie was abandoned at 3 weeks old in a cardboard box in Ayr. We fed him initially on Milupa baby food. We brought him home to NI and he quickly became a member of our family. He was faithful, kind, gentle and wise and we just adore him. Robbie comforted our children when they were upset and made everything ‘right’. He lay beside our other dog, Buttons, when he was sick to keep him warm. Robbie was the 5th person in our family.
In Oct 09 our daughter entered him in a competition in our local paper to find Brandy Dog Food Man’s Best Friend. We were delighted to learn that Robbie was a finalist and ecstatic when he won!
Robbie died suddenly on 8th Jan 10 at the age of 15 years and 10 months. Our local paper printed a tribute to him. We are all devastated-we miss him so much.
