Sadie was born on the farm in Kentucky; from the litter we chose the little girl with the one white spot, which turned out to be her favorite place to be scratched.
From the drive back to our home from that farm until the day she died–she loved her family, she protected her boys, and she tolerated the bulldog, the cats, and the rabbits. She was a happy and healthy dog for 11 years. But she got very sick very fast; she came home to say goodbye to the family and the home she loved, and she decided it was time to go.
Goodbye old girl. We love you, will miss you, and will remember you for the rest of our lives.
