Here’s to my “little horsie,” Jubilee. You were mine and I was yours since you were born. I took care of you your entire life and gave you the best home and life possible. You were spoiled and everyone knew it! You deserved it and more! I rode you hundreds of miles in the hills and canyon for many years and we always had a great time together. You were quite a handful in “your day,” but you mellowed to a much quieter, loving horse that I could put Katelyn and Mackenna on at age 6!
I’m so sad that you’re gone, and it was so difficult to see you go, but I’m so thankful that I was there with you to the end. I was able to carry out what I’ve always said I wanted to do – “I brought you into this world, I want to be the one to help you go out.” With the love, respect and dignity you so much deserved! I pray you didn’t suffer and were not in any pain, I don’t believe that was the case. I also pray that you found Sunny and you are both together running wild and free and resting peacefully under a nice shade tree. I will always remember you, Jube! Until we meet again some day..
