Cookie was abandoned by neighbors that moved. When she started coming to our back door during the bitter snow storms of January, she had a severe cold and eye infection. We expected her to die. We took her in “temporarily” and kept her separate from our other cat that has feline leukemia. Cookie recovered, but after a few weeks, we realized she was pregnant. We placed her in an unused bedroom for privacy. She had an unusual delivery that produced one kitten every 12+ hours. We were assured that this is normal with some cats. Only one of her five babies survived. No animal should experience this kind physical pain and emotional anguish. Cookie will be spayed as soon as possible. This tribute is for Cookie, her deceased babies: (Precious, Angel, Gorgeous and Cutey Pie)and for all animals that are abandoned, abused, and neglected.
Lovingly,
